Intelligent Control Systems is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal dedicated to publishing original and high-impact research across the theoretical and applied frontiers of intelligent control. The journal aims to be the premier scholarly venue and an indispensable resource for the global research community, serving both academia and industry by disseminating foundational advances and inspiring the future trajectory of autonomous and intelligent systems.

Intelligent control constitutes the foundational discipline that enables engineered systems to achieve autonomy, adaptability, and sophisticated decision-making capabilities. It is built upon the deep convergence of control theory, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computational intelligence. This synergy is critical for the development of next-generation cyber-physical systems, autonomous robotics, resilient industrial automation, and adaptive infrastructure networks. Key advances in areas, such as learning-based control, data-driven modeling, distributed multi-agent coordination, and verifiable artificial intelligence, directly enable transformative applications. These span intelligent transportation systems, smart grids with high renewable penetration, precision biomedical interventions, and resilient manufacturing ecosystems. The interdisciplinary fusion of control science with computer science, electrical engineering, and domain-specific fields is pivotal to solving grand challenges in safety-critical automation, resource optimization, and human-machine symbiosis.

In essence, intelligent control systems not only enhance the capabilities of traditional automation but also create autonomous systems with perception, learning, and strategic decision-making in complex and uncertain environments, thereby playing a pivotal role in technological advancement and societal progress.

Intelligent Control Systems will embrace all significant advances in foundational theoretical breakthroughs, pioneering algorithmic innovations, integrative systems engineering, and translational real-world deployments, encompassing both the fundamental and the transformative.

Intelligent Control Systems is led by an international editorial team of distinguished and actively researching scholars, who are recognized leaders in their respective subfields and bring substantial editorial expertise.

Tips on Downloading Citation

This feature enables you to download the bibliographic information (also called citation data, header data, or metadata) for the articles on our site.

Citation Manager File Format

Use the radio buttons to choose how to format the bibliographic data you're harvesting. Several citation manager formats are available, including EndNote and BibTex.

Type of Import

If you have citation management software installed on your computer your Web browser should be able to import metadata directly into your reference database.

Direct Import: When the Direct Import option is selected (the default state), a dialogue box will give you the option to Save or Open the downloaded citation data. Choosing Open will either launch your citation manager or give you a choice of applications with which to use the metadata. The Save option saves the file locally for later use.

Indirect Import: When the Indirect Import option is selected, the metadata is displayed and may be copied and pasted as needed.
