Cover Picture: Precise regulation of nanoscale ion transport in biological systems offers a fundamental blueprint for advanced artificial nanofluidics. Two-dimensional (2D) organic framework membranes have recently emerged as a promising platform for emulating this efficient ionic machinery. With their intrinsic periodicity, controllable sub-nanometer pores, and adjustable chemical environments, these membranes overcome traditional transport bottlenecks and enable scalable, highly selective ion transport. This review summarizes the state-of-the-art development of 2D organic framework membranes, discussing the fundamental mechanisms and experimental measurements for nanofluidic ion transport, membrane fabrication, and potential applications. Ultimately, this work assesses key challenges and provides a comprehensive roadmap for next-generation bionic nanofluidics, offering practical guidance for future applications in energy storage, osmotic energy conversion, and water purification.

Back Cover Picture: Oxide-based electrolyte-gated transistors (EGTs) enable low-voltage control of electronic, magnetic, optical, or even structural properties in oxide channels, making them attractive for neuromorphic, magnetoionic, and optoelectronic applications. Over the last decade, oxide EGTs have made remarkable progress in material discovery, device physics, and neuromorphic computing. However, challenges remain in terms of electrochemical stability, limited switching speed, and scalable integration. This perspective reviews the development of electrochemical gating of metal oxides, highlighting its advantages for neuromorphic computing and discussing prospects, challenges and future applications. Coordinated efforts in electrolyte design, oxide defect engineering, and device optimization will be crucial. By combining electrochemical tunability with neurotransmission-like gating dynamics, oxide EGTs provide a power-efficient, non-volatile, and multifunctional platform for neuromorphic computing.
